My tripping and guiding goes back seventeen years and I have enjoyed paddling on the Nahanni, Mountain, Hood, Thelon, Moisie, Pontax, Katawagami, Harricana, North French and many others in Ontario and Quebec – as well as rivers in the United States. My great love of the outdoors and wanting to share it led me to become a guide.

I also teach whitewater caneoing to all levels of paddlers from beginners to instructors, teach and mentor on women’s courses as well as compete at many OC slalom races. I outfit and repair canoes, work for an outdoor shop doing their buying, and bike, hike, run and ski and practice yoga!

I share a beautiful farm with my husband Brian where sitting on the porch drinking tea is a treasured indulgence.

People often ask me what I love most about being on trip? The bonding of the group as we meet the challenges along the way and share the beauty of our environment ; that’s what keeps me coming back.
