The Wild Women Way

by Nancy Haughian | December 16, 2015

We’re on an expedition,

a wild one for sure.

12 women on a mission,

the ocean is the lure.

Hiking to the hot springs,

sleeping under the stars.

We get to try new things,

no holds barred!

Polish our kayak skills,

and snorkel with the fishes,

We’ll all make supper,

then do the dishes!

On the beach we sit,

busy days all around.

At Espirito Santo Island (a UNESCO site),

playful seals abound.

Blue Footed Boobie,

what a rare sight.

If I see a whale shark,

I’m sure to get a fright!

The sun and the moon,

the wind and the waves.

We are all Wild Women,

and this is our way . . .
