This Antarctic Women’s Expedition is in partnership with Aurora Expeditions, with charter flights (included) that carry you from Punta Arenas, Chile to King George Island in Antarctica and back.

While you’ll be with the Wild Women group, this isn’t an exclusive Wild Women Expeditions trip. The Wild Women group size can range from 10 to 20 women, but there will be other passengers along for the journey. While the passengers and special guests are all women on this first-ever women-only expedition to Antarctica, the staff and crew of the Sylvia Earle, a 130-passenger ship, may be mixed-gender. Your Wild Women Expeditions host will be with you every step of the way to help you have a smooth and enjoyable experience.

King George Island and Embarkation (Day 2, February 24, 2027)

This morning we will be transferred to Presidente Carlos Ibáñez International Airport (PUQ), for our charter flight to King George Island, Antarctica (weather permitting). The flight will take approximately one hour and forty-five minutes.

On arrival into King George Island, the Expedition Team will be on hand to greet you and to prepare you for your Zodiac transfer to the vessel. You will have time to settle into your cabin before our important safety briefings.

Disembarkation and Return to Punta Arenas (Day 9 – March 3, 2027)

It is time to say goodbye to Antarctica before boarding our flight (approximately one hour and forty-five minutes, weather permitting) back to Punta Arenas, Chile. From the airport in Punta Arenas, you will be transferred to our group hotel for an overnight stay.

Departing From Punta Arenas (Day 10 – March 4, 2027)

After breakfast (included) at our hotel, a one-time transfer to the airport is included in the voyage fare.

Included Hotel Accommodations

Your included accommodation on February 23 is at Dreams Hotel in Punta Arenas.

At the end of your expedition, on March 3, you’ll be staying at Cabo de Hornos

If you would like help booking a pre- or post-stay at one of the above hotels, the rate is $300 per night, for one or two people. Contact us at support@wildwomenexpeditions.com to request extra nights.
