Let Morocco Transform You

Follow part of the trade caravan route from ancient Marrakech to an 11th-century earthen clay fortified city, passing through the High Atlas mountains, visiting tiny Berber villages and falling under the spell of the lush oases of the Sahara. This journey combines the perfect balance of traditional accommodations, incredible landscapes and deeply educational opportunities at the Tamegroute Koranic Library, Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve, pilgrimage sites, mosques and buzzing medinas.

Medinas and Mountains

Make Meaningful Connections

On this adventure, you’ll learn about the origins and symbolism of hennas from a local female Hennaya (Henna tattoo artist). You’ll also share an authentic Moroccan dinner and stories with a local Marrakchi family in their home. Join a fun, curious and compelling group of Wild Women on our brand new nine-day caravan through Morocco’s undeniable wonders. This is the perfect trip for our wild-at-heart community members.

The Wild Women Way

If you’re wondering how we roll, it’s together. The Wild Women Way is our modus operandi, our mantra and our rock solid foundation. You can learn more about our Wild Ways HERE.

How We Support You

Ready for a big adventure? We’re in it together. On this trip, we travel long distances in a vehicle, spend many hours on our feet and even ride a camel (this part’s optional). Yes, it can be a challenge, but you’re never alone. Like thousands of women before you, you’ll draw on strength you didn’t know you had and come out feeling like the goddess you are.

Like all our trips, this trip can be scaled to suit different abilities and comfort levels. If you have concerns or reservations about your ability to complete or enjoy this trip due to any physical or medical reasons, please contact us and let’s talk about it.

What the Trip Entails

This is an active, multi-activity adventure. We want you to be comfortable with the following:

  • checkmark icon Traveling for long distances (8 hours) in a vehicle across the hot, arid desert and through winding, narrow mountain passes
  • checkmark icon Extensive time on your feet touring cities and medinas, in potentially hot, unshaded conditions, depending on the month of travel
  • checkmark icon There is an optional 7.5 mile (12 km) hike with a 1,312 ft (400 m) elevation gain and loss upon return. Please note that the trail is single-track and extremely rocky with some open cliffside exposure and a strong likelihood of meeting passing mules
  • checkmark icon There is an optional sunset camel ride at walking pace
  • checkmark icon One night will be spent in a bivouac tent in the desert
  • checkmark icon Cultural differences, etiquette and traditions should be observed and respected
  • checkmark icon The menu may be spicy and unfamiliar to you, and due to religious beliefs, alcoholic beverages may not be available outside of major hotels or bigger restaurants, or at all
  • checkmark icon Physical Rating: Easy – Moderate (Trips typically involve 3 to 5 hours of daily activity.)
