Across the Annapurna Sanctuary

Discover a quieter side of Nepal on the Annapurna Vistas Trek—a thoughtfully designed women’s trekking adventure that blends breathtaking Himalayan views with meaningful cultural connections. Perfect for those drawn to nature and the mountains, this off-the-beaten-path route follows scenic ridgelines through lush forests of rhododendron, magnolia, and Himalayan maple, far from the crowds of the main Annapurna trails.

Along the way, trek through terraced farmland, pass grazing yaks, and connect with remote mountain villages—experiencing the Annapurna region in a way that feels both immersive and deeply personal. From panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges to peaceful forested paths, each day reveals a new layer of Nepal’s natural beauty.

Annapurna Vistas Trek

Through The Heart Of The Himalayas

As the journey unfolds, the trail descends from Tadapani to Ghurjung, where the experience shifts from alpine landscapes to rich cultural immersion. Here, you’ll connect with Gurung village life and witness daily traditions in the hills. The adventure concludes with a scenic return to Pokhara, including time to explore Ghandruk—one of Nepal’s most picturesque and culturally vibrant mountain villages.

This Nepal trek is a journey into the heart of the Himalayas, where solitude, culture, and awe-inspiring landscapes come together. Travel deeper, slower, and more meaningfully alongside a community of adventurous women.

Physical Fitness Level

Although this trek is not as challenging as the Everest Basecamp Trek due to lower altitudes and shorter distances hiking on established trails, it is still recommended that you dedicate some training time to prepare for this trip. Our Adventure Experts can help you with suggested plans and resources to ensure that you are in optimal condition and prepared for this adventure.

Evacuation Procedures

In the unlikely event that a group member must descend the mountain due to altitude sickness, illness or injury, trek staff will accompany them down the trail to lower elevation and support their return to Kathmandu. Guides will be in constant contact with the office in Kathmandu and in case of emergency, quick response is possible.

Any costs incurred as part of the evacuation are at the evacuee’s expense.  Travel Insurance, including medical and evacuation coverage is required.  Cancellation and interruption insurance is highly recommended.

A Typical Day: What to Expect

On our Annapurna Vistas Trek, mornings will be fairly early.  Before breakfast, you will be required to repack your gear into a trek duffel bag, which will then be transported by the porters and will not be available to access until you reach your next accommodation that afternoon/evening.

After a simple breakfast, we are usually on the trail by 8 a.m. depending upon the duration, challenge and nature of the day’s walk. We will walk for around 2-4 hours and then generally break for lunch for about one hour.  The afternoon walk is usually a little shorter and we try to reach our next accommodation by around 4 p.m. Once we arrive, a nourishing and rejuvenating afternoon tea will be prepared. From the time your tea is steeped until dinner is served, there is free time to rest, journal, massage your feet or explore the surrounding area.

Dinner is typically served between 6–7 p.m. Trekking evenings afford some of the best memories of your trek, whether it’s simply swapping stories, playing cards, chatting with the crew or joining in some impromptu singing and dancing with the locals. Much of the enjoyment of an expedition is in the journey—you’ll see!
