Disnarda Aragon Choque
A native of Cuzco, she is immensely proud of her Inca cultural heritage. She grew up speaking Spanish as well as Quechua, the language of the Incas and of the majority of the peasants who live in the mountains of southern Peru. From an early age she enjoyed spending time in the mountains, in close contact with the natural environment. A graduate of the rigorous Tourism program at Cuzco’s San Antonio Abad University, she has been working as a professional guide since 2002. She enjoys sharing with visitors the natural wonders of the Andes, as well as encouraging a cultural mixing between visitors and her Andean neighbours.
